FORM50 is the smartest & most effective workout in 50 minutes. It’s a full-body workout, without the toll of high-impact exercise – no running and no jumping. We combine slow and fast explosive movements on a spring-based custom reformer, designed for performance training. FORM50 will have your body feeling strong & sculpted. The class moves to the beat of a party playlist with an ultra-sleek, boutique vibe. FORM50 is all about functional fitness. That means being able to live your best life without injury.
At its core, FORM50 is high intensity strength training on a reformer. Every 50-minute session is built around metabolic intervals that build real strength, burn fat, and create definition without loading your joints. The afterburn effect lasts up to 36 hours post-class.
FORM50 is NOT Pilates. FORM50 and Pilates have a few things in common, both are low impact, and work on a machine. FORM50 is high intensity, which means more fat loss, cardiovascular endurance, and strength. Think high intensity strength training on a reformer. The intensity of FORM50 doesn’t suit everyone. Those who want a lower intensity workout may be better off with the restorative nature of Pilates.
The FORMFormer is FORM50’s proprietary spring-based reformer machine, designed specifically for the FORM50 method. Unlike traditional gym equipment, the FORMFormer uses adjustable spring resistance to create constant tension through every movement. Your muscles are working through the full range of motion, not just at peak contraction.
The result: more effective strength and sculpting work, with zero impact on your joints. The FORMFormer is the reason FORM50 delivers results that feel different from anything else you’ve tried.
At a regular gym, you plan your own workout, choose your own weights, and figure it out yourself. At FORM50, a certified coach builds every 50 minutes for you: programming, cues, and hands-on form corrections included. No guesswork, no wandering the weight floor.
What separates FORM50 from other group fitness classes is the combination: high intensity strength training on a spring-based reformer, with zero running and zero jumping. You build real strength, improve cardiovascular endurance, and sculpt your body, all in one class, without the joint impact of traditional HIIT or weightlifting.
Yes. FORM50 is high intensity strength training, which means every class drives two results simultaneously: muscle-building and fat loss.
The metabolic interval structure pushes your heart rate high during explosive intervals, then keeps your muscles under tension during controlled resistance exercises. The afterburn effect keeps your metabolism elevated for up to 36 hours after class. Over time, building lean muscle also increases your resting metabolic rate, so your body burns more even on rest days.
For best results, 3-4 classes per week is recommended.
FORM50 is low impact – no running, no jumping, no heavy barbell loading. Many clients with knee, hip, or back sensitivities find it more joint-friendly than traditional gym workouts or high-impact classes.
That said, every injury is different. Our coaches offer modifications in every class, and we encourage you to let your coach know about any limitations before class starts. For specific conditions, we recommend consulting your doctor before starting.
Clients with injuries who are new to FORM50 should start with FORM Your Foundation, where the pace allows your coach the most time to work with you individually. FORM50 Pro is not suitable for clients with injuries.
FORM Your Foundation is a must for beginners and suitable for all fitness levels. We will help you master the foundational moves you’ll use in Total Body. This may be where you start, but it will help you build the strength you will need. In FORM Your Foundation, your coach breaks everything down step by step: the FORMFormer, and all the moves, so you can get the feel and flow of killer form. Think slow, controlled, functional movements for just the right amount of intensity. This class moves at a pace that’s totally doable, but still challenging.
All classes at FORM50 are challenging no matter your fitness level or how many times you have taken class at our studio. Total Body Sculpt is our intermediate/advanced class and may not be suitable for clients with injuries or who are pregnant. However, our coaches will offer modifications and adjustments as needed. We do strongly encourage all newbies to take FORM Your Foundation first.
Total Body Sculpt is FORM50’s signature strength training class. Even regulars get humbled here. That’s kind of the whole point.
FORM50 Pro is our advanced class – heavier spring loads, agility-focused moves, faster transitions, and minimal modifications. It’s the hardest 50 minutes we offer.
To qualify, you need to complete 10 or more Total Body Sculpt classes and receive coach approval. FORM50 Pro is not suitable for clients with injuries or who are pregnant.
Think of it as the level-up. You’ll know when you’re ready.
Stretch & Flow is FORM50’s recovery class – dynamic stretches on the FORMFormer, dim lights, and a playlist that lets you breathe. It’s designed to improve flexibility, increase range of motion, and help your body recover between Total Body Sculpt sessions.
All fitness levels are welcome. Members can add a Stretch & Flow on top of their regular class at 50% off a single class rate.
Wear anything fitted and comfortable: leggings, biker shorts, or a fitted top. Avoid loose clothing, as many exercises involve dynamic movement on the FORMFormer.
Grippy socks are required for every class – they keep you safe and stable on the machine. Bring your own or purchase a pair at the studio.
New clients: arrive at least 10 minutes early. Your coach will walk you through the FORMFormer and set you up before class starts.
We allow clients who are regulars at our studio before their pregnancy to join in. All clients who are pregnant will be required to request approval to take class via email. If you have never been to our studio before, you will be required to take privates before joining group classes, or wait until after your pregnancy.
Please reach out to us at hello@form50fitness.com for more information.
We recommend clients to take at least 1-2 rest days in between each class. 3-4X per week is recommended for best results.
Because FORM50 is high intensity strength training, your muscles need time between sessions to recover and rebuild. That’s when you actually get stronger. Consistency over time is what produces real, visible changes in strength and body composition.
Our Coach-In-Training classes are classes taught by our trainees who are in the process of learning to become a coach. These classes are on the schedule periodically.
Same FORMFormer, same FORM50 method – with a coach who’s building their craft under close supervision. Keep an eye on your studio’s schedule.
